At YouTube, a great old 1970 KFC commercial. Much more upbeat than the previous campaign, still with the tagline “Visit the Colonel”, but the earlier spot had a more folksy, homespun charm and a jingle that sounded like Tennessee Ernie Ford.

The critics are not kind to the new DVD Box set of Inspector Gadget.
