With news that Hong Kong Phooey is coming to DVD, Jamie Weinman tries to put his finger on why the crappy Hanna-Barbera shows from the 70’s and 80’s are more popular than the better early stuff.

Fark readers were introduced to Varietyspeak this week, as they were pointed to a Variety article about the possible return of Futurama. Anyways, after reading all the complaints about the trade paper’s unique usage of the English language, I found a full glossary. Enjoy!
